Bit keepers are designed to inhibit Full Cheek Upper Cheeks from getting hooked on miscellaneous objects.

Available in standard or long.  We recommend long keepers to keep the most integrity of bit function and position. Standard bit keepers, in addition to eliminating safety concerns, cause modification of the full cheek, similar to a gag by pivoting at the top of the cheek.  This action produces a lift in the bit.  If you wish to produce addition gag qualities in full cheeks please see our looped full cheeks.
